Family604 is dedicated to providing Metro Vancouver families with child and parent friendly activities, events and destinations.

Contributor Jenny Miles Cassidy has been living in the lower Mainland since birth. A proud resident of the burgeoning city of Surrey, she is mother to 5 incredible kids.  At 18 Jenny spent a summer backpacking around Europe with her best friend and has been bitten by the travel bug ever since.  Jenny and partner Sean Cassidy love spontaneous adventures, concerts, a good glass of wine and the outdoors. Sean, who grew up near Montreal, is a champion sailor and avid downhill skier who spent several years living abroad in both the UK and Australia.

When they aren’t busy with kids’ music lessons, baseball games , and football practices they enjoy entertaining friends and family, relaxing in their garden or playing board games with the kids.

During the mild west coast winters you can often find the family on a nearby ski hill or skating at the local rink. Warmer months bring camping , long distance road trips and trips to favourite beaches and lakes.
